Fourth is King

My level of excitement to share these photos has reached a ridiculous high.

I had the pleasure (and honor) of styling a shoot for Fourth is King - an amazing t-shirt line designed by Jay Byrnes. Jay is also the owner and talent behind the art and graphic design firm Adapt-Studio, Inc.

The models are real Chicago teens. They love skating and clothes, so it was a no brainer.

Thanks to Owen, Augie, and Nick for being the best subjects a stylist could hope for.

Fall for Fifty

Update my fall wardrobe with only $50 to spend? Piece of cake.

Marshalls challenged me to go to one of their stores and find some items to enhance my fall look on a very limited budget. Being a highly thrifty person by nature, I accepted.

From purses...

to scarves...

What to choose?

When you don't have the funds for a brand new wardrobe each season, the key is to update with pieces that are versatile. Purchase items you can wear again and again with everything you currently have.

I selected a cozy sweater wrap and a floppy camel hat. Both are extremely wearable, chic, and practical. Total: $49.37 - originally retailing for $108 total! Gotta love the prices on quality goods at Marshalls. Remember when I told you how they buy their stock?

What did you buy to update for fall? I want to know!

Outfit: Hat and wrap from Marshalls, Jeans: William Rast, Tank: New York and Company, Boots: really old from Macy's when it was Marshall Field's.

Shopping outfit: Dress, Cardigan, and Belt: All from Target
